COMING SPECIAL EVENTS

This page is dedicated to Christian Tours and "Vacations With A Purpose".  We have hosted people all over the world throughout our ministry to , not only have them enjoy great Christian Fellowship, but the introduce them to the mission field.  One special thing about traveling and ministering in churches all across the United States and Canada most of the year, is the joy of meeting other Christian families who we are drawn to and want to spend more time with.  Each year we have planned and implemented tours to wonderful places where Christians can enjoy the fellowship of people who love the Lord and want to vacation together.  We have hosted CRUISES, HOLY LAND TRIPS, EUROPEAN TOURS, U.S. and CANADIAN venues via Luxury Tour Bus and Airplanes.  So, watch this page for future trips that you may want to be a part of.  Come on, let's go!

2008 KENYA, AFRICA Tour
Jan and I have planned a return visit back to Kenya next year.  Our Orphanage for Street Kids in the city of Nukuru is close to being finished.  However, already our Elementary School is operating at capacity and the Vocational Garages are preparing youngmen to open their own auto repair shops throughout Kenya.  With 65% unemployment these young fellows will be the employers of the future.  They will be Christian businessmen in a land with no employment future.  More than one and one half million children in Kenya are orphaned because of HIV-AIDs.  They have been left to fend for themselves in a poverty stricken nation.  They live in cardboard boxes on the streets and have to beg for daily food.  As Christians, we can't just turn away from this need.  They are truly open to the gospel and are desperate for help from Christians who have been abundant blest of God.  Kenya is an exceptionally beautiful country located on the east coast of Africa on the Equator.  Wild life is all around us as we travel.  The Nukuru National Park is right next to our Orphanage.

We will be leaving for Kenya on JANUARY 8th and returning on JANUARY 23, 2008.  The cost is $3,950 per person (dbl Ocpy).  The price includes All Flights and Transportation, Venue Tickets, One Major Meal per day (plus: motel includes breakfast).  Individuals are responsible for extra shopping, as well as, required Inoculation, passport and visa costs.   For more information call our office at: 941-493-5200 or write to: 521 Purslane Point / Venice, FL 34293.  Deposit of 1/2 of the cost is due by November 14 and full payment due by December 12, 2008.

2007 European Tour
Jan and I have just returned from visiting and ministering throughout many countries of Europe from March 13th through 28th, 2006 along with Danelle Sinacori of Northport, FL, Scott Windler of Rockford, IL, Dave & Mary Dixon of Scotts Valley, CA.  Mary, is an accomplished singer and a member of a well known Gospel Group called CHOSEN VISION.   The Dixon's two grown children traveled with us as well, Matt and Wendy  We were joined by Rev. Adrian & Pauline Hawkes of London, England as we toured and ministered inTamil Churches of Great Britan, Holland, Belgium and France. We, then, boarded a plane and flew to Athens, Greece.  We toured Greece and ministered with Rev. Elias Armenis of Hope Place ministries of Athens.  We ministered and encouraged the dedicated staff who lead drug addicts, homeless people, prostitutes and criminals to Jesus.  Their ministry is amazing.

After our tour of Europe we sent, Scott Windler, on to Kenya, Africa to work on our Orphanage and School in Nakuru.  Scott spent two additional weeks in Kenya and used his construction skills to assist our local staff there.  He made great progress there.  Scott was so excited and moved with what God is doing in Africa that he didn't want to come home.
Scott will never be the same.

2004 European Missions Tour
Jan and I will be ministering throughout many countries of Europe from October 6th through 19th, 2004 along with special ministry friends, Rev. Dick & Evy Copeland of Community Life Church - Elko Nevada.  They are all longtime friends and veteran ministers.  Also, two of our very special friends and gospel singers, Hugo & Esther Shirley of Aptos, CA as well as Dave & Mary Dixon of Scotts Valley, CA.  Hugo, Esther & Mary sing in a well known Gospel Group called CHOSEN VISION.   We will be touring and ministering in Tamil Churches of Europe.

For a little back ground on who we will we ministering to here are some facts about our ministry target.  There is an island just off India named SRI LANKA.  The two main ethnic peoples that reside there; Sinhalese and Tamil.  The Sinhalese are in the majority.  They rule with 74% of the population and are devout BUDDHIST.  The Tamil people are only 18% of the population and are mainly HINDUS.  Civil war has been going on there between these to groups for years with the minority Tamil people suffering at the hands of the Sinhalese government as ethnic cleansing is a driving force for them.  Many Tamil people have fled for their lives into many areas of Europe and directly into the arms of compassionate Christians.  Because of Christian help and love thousands of Tamil people have been converted from Hinduism to Christianity.  Through a network of European rescue efforts Rev. Adrian & Pauline Hawkes, of London England, have started 17 Christian Tamil churches throughout Europe.  Adrian and I go back for many, many years.  We first met in South Africa in 1972.  Our friendship has been ongoing and our ministries here and abroad has been enriched by open doors around the world.  On this 2003 European Missions Tour we will fly to England then travel southward and minister in France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Italy.  Prayer for us as we raise funds for this endeavor and prepare to make this journey.  Contact us by e-mail at: phil@philenloe.com and remember us in prayer.

Here are some pictures from a European Tour.  What memories we made!

SEPTEMBER 6
through 15, 2000
Jan & Phil along with Adrian & Pauline Hawkes of London, England, hosted a Y2K EUROPEAN TOUR!
The group flew into London to begin our tour, then travelled by Motor Coach to many exciting places; England; (Buckingham Palace, Warwick Castle, St. Paul's Cathedral, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, shopped at the world famous Harrods of London, and visited William Shakespeare's home at Stratford-upon-Avon).  We crossed the English Channel to Calais, France; (then on to Paris, climbed (some of us) to the top of the Eiffel Tower and visited Notre Dame Cathedral, the Arch DeTriumph, then Cruised the Seine River after which we enjoyed dining on the Pavement (on the sidewalk).  The shopping was a scream, too).  Then on to Belgium; (chocolates, world famous waffles and lace.  It was soooo quaint).  As we travel northeast into Holland; (the landscape will be breathtaking. Sluis, Holland was just like a picture postcard). None of us can deny that God was with us throughout the trip.  In spite of the Gasoline Protests and Road Blockades the Lord saw us through.  Jan and I are still marveling over the weather, the timing and the miraculous way God planned and fulfilled our trip.  The Lord WAS with us!  After our plane left the ground London was deluged with rain, the blockages closed even more of Europe that we were threatened with and travel became impossible!  We were blessed!  So, ask any member of the group to see their pictures and they will tell you the great fun we had.  Here are a few pictures supplied by Cleo Weaver (Jan and I haven't got ours back yet), but here are a few choice moments she captured.  Thanks Cleo!  We will have more later.

So, here is a cup of Strong Coffee to all of you who joined us on the Y2K European Tour.  We love you all and feel as though we bonded with each of you during our time together.  We will never forget you.  We hope you will trust us to host you again real soon.  Our desire is to make these trips as fun, exciting, meaningful, worthwhile, entertaining and inspirational as they can be.  We promise to always do our best to plan a quality trip for YOU!
